Nadhim Zahawi Net Worth, Age, Height: Nadhim Zahawi is an Iraqi-born British politician born on June 2, 1967, in Baghdad, Iraq.

He schooled at Holland Park School, before moving to Ibstock Place School and then to King’s College School, followed by University College London, where he earned a BSc degree in chemical engineering in 1985.

In 1991, Zahawi was an aide to Jeffrey Archer during Archer’s “Simple Truth” campaign to help Kurdish victims of the Gulf War. To show gratitude, in 1994 Archer helped campaign for Zahawi for a seat on the Wandsworth council.

Zahawi was elected as a Conservative councilor in Putney in the London Borough of Wandsworth, serving three terms from 1994 to 2006, and stood as a parliamentary candidate in 1997.

As a member of the Conservative Party, he was first elected Member of Parliament for Stratford-on-Avon in 2010 and was subsequently re-elected in 2015, 2017, and 2019.

In September 2021, Zahawi was sworn in as a member of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council at Balmoral Castle. This gave him the honorific prefix “The Right Honourable” for Life.

He has been serving as Chairman of the Conservative Party and minister without portfolio since October 2022 until he was sacked by UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in January 2023 for a ‘serious breach’ of the Ministerial Code.
