Miguel Cancel is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on June 29, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Cancel was made a Coral Gables police officer in 2003. He was forced to be ejected from the back of a Coral Gables van in December 2004. This resulted in the loss or two fingers on his left hand.
Ray Reyes, Cancel’s ex-bandmate, recruited him to El Reencuentro in 1998 while Ray worked in a Los Angeles fast food restaurant. The group recorded and released an album of previously unreleased Menudo songs, and then toured the globe in support of the album.
1984 saw Cancel release his first solo album, the pop-rock single “Fun Fun Fun Fun Fun”. (English/Spanish). Doug Fieger, the lead singer of The Knack produced and wrote the single. It was released on Miguel Enterprises, Cancel’s new independent label.
In 2012, Cancel announced that he would again be returning to the music industry as a solo artist, his first solo effort having been in 1984.
