Biography of James Outman
On May 14, 1997, James Outman, an American outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was born. In his adolescence, Outman attended Junpero Serra High School in Redwood City, California.
The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Outman from California State University, Sacramento in the seventh round of t he 2018 MLB Draft. In 2018 he played for the Ogden Raptors, and in 2019 he played for the Great Lakes Loons.

After missing the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Outman played with the Great Lakes Loons in 2021, batting.250 with nine home runs and 30 RBI.
After the season, the Dodgers moved him to the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League. Outman was added to the Dodgers’ 40-man roster in November 2021.
He was named the Double-A Central hitter of the week two weeks after being promoted to the Double-A Tulsa Drillers in July for his seven extra-base hits, including three home runs, in six games against the Springfield Cardinals.
In 39 games for Tulsa, he ended up batting .289 with nine home runs and 24 RBI.
