US-based Nigerian singer, Yinka Lawanson professionally known as Lamboginny has shared his grass to grace story on Twitter to inspire others.

The musician revealed that while growing up, he lived in a mud house with his grandparents in Igando, Lagos State. He said the latter part of his life saw him moving to the ‘face me I face you’ type of settlement in Ikotun.

From there, he squatted with friends for 7 years before finally getting a one-bedroom apartment. Now he resides in the United States, and is thankful to God for the life he has today.

Sharing a photo of his house, Lamboginny wrote;

I grew up in a Mud house with my grandparents in Igando, Lagos. We later moved into a “face me I face you” house in Ikotun. Squatted with friends for 7yrs and later got a one bedroom apartment.

Woke up this morning thinking about my journey and I’m grateful for where I’m today.

In other trending deveopment, a new report emerging from the protracted Hushpuppi’s (Ramon Abbas) case has it that the Nigerian Instagram BIG boy would finally be trialed on July 11, 2022, by the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Court document seen made available to Peoples Gazette where we sighted this report said Judge Otis D. Wright in Los Angeles granted the order after Hushpuppi’s lawyers led by Louis Shapiro entered a request for postponement. He is expected to remain in custody in the intervening period of the delay.

The previous sentencing date was February 14. Hushpuppi was arrested for scamming different continents to the tune of millions of dollars. He pleaded guilty last year to the charges, seeking a lighter sentence.

“At the request of counsel, the sentencing is continued to July 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.,” the court document said after the decision was taken on February 2.

Nigerian police chief Abba Kyari and several other Nigerian co-conspirators of Hushpuppi have either been indicted and at large or currently facing charges at different courts over the intercontinental conspiracy that spanned several years.
