Chris Streveler Bio, Age, Parents, Wife, Children, Net Worth – Christopher L. Streveler is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s New York Jets (NFL).
He went to Minnesota and South Dakota for college football. Streveler went undrafted in 2018 and spent two seasons as a backup quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL), winning the 107th Grey Cup in 2019. He also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals.

Chris Streveler began his college career with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, where he spent three years before transferring to the University of South Dakota.
After that, Chris Streveler spent two years with the South Dakota Coyotes. In 2017, he was named the MVFC Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 6,081 yards and 54 touchdowns. He was a Walter Payton Award runner-up.
After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Streveler signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League on May 4, 2018. In training camp, he was expected to compete with Blue Bombers quarterbacks Matt Nichols, Darian Durant, and Alex Ross.
However, Darian Durant, the presumed backup quarterback, retired before the start of training camp. The Blue Bombers signed quarterback Bryan Bennett, who will compete for backup duties behind Nichols with Streveler and Ross.
Streveler went 10 for 10 with 140 yards and an 80-yard touchdown pass in his first preseason game with the Blue Bombers on June 1, 2018. Nichols suffered an injury in practice on June 6 that would keep him out for four to six weeks to begin the 2018 season.
Instead of bringing in a veteran quarterback, the Blue Bombers decided to start Streveler to start the season.
Streveler became the first quarterback fresh out of college to start a CFL game since 1994, when future Hall of Famer Anthony Calvillo did so for the Las Vegas Posse.
The Bombers defeated the Alouettes 56-10 in Week 2 to give Streveler his first CFL victory. Before starting quarterback Nichols returned from injury, Streveler started the first three games of the season for the Bombers.
Streveler was used as a rusher and a rotational passer throughout the season, completing 86 of 140 passes for 1,134 yards and 11 touchdowns against five interceptions. Streveler had 77 carries for 441 yards and 10 more touchdowns on the ground.
Streveler was signed to the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad on November 29, 2021.
Streveler signed with the Miami Dolphins on February 22, 2022. On May 18, 2022, he was released by the Dolphins.
Streveler signed with the New York Jets on July 26, 2022. Despite a strong preseason showing, he was waived on August 30, 2022, and signed to the practice squad the following day.
Streveler took over for a struggling Zach Wilson in the Jets’ 19-3 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16. He completed ten of fifteen passes for 90 yards and ran nine times for 54 yards.
