Charlie Teo Wife: Who is Charlie Teo Wife?: Charlie Teo, officially known as Charles Teo AM is an Australian neurosurgeon born on December 24, 1957.

He attended The Scots College and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery in 1981 from the University of New South Wales.

Charlie Teo started in general neurosurgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before moving to the United States where he completed a fellowship in Dallas, Texas becoming the only Australian neurosurgeon certified by a US medical board.

He spent almost ten years in the United States where he was an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

When he returned to Australia, he was self-appointed as the director of the Centre for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery which he established at the Prince of Wales Hospital.

Charlie Teo also founded Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, formerly known as Cure For Life Foundation, and is also the founder of the Charlie Teo Foundation.

Charlie Teo over the course of his career has developed an international reputation in the field of minimally-invasive neurosurgery. Since 2009, Teo has been a council member for the Australian animal welfare group Voiceless.

In February 2023, he made headlines when he took a swipe at the disciplinary procedures against him over allegations of unsatisfactory professional conduct, saying it was driven by enemies and business rivals jealous of his ‘superior skills’.

Currently, Charlie Teo is not married and hence does not have a wife. However, he was previously married to Genevieve Teo but they separated in 2018 after 30 years of marriage.

The pair first met when Charlie was 25 years old, at that time he was a doctor while Genevieve was a nurse at the same hospital.

Teo is engaged to Traci Griffiths, a former international model. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2011 and Teo was her treating surgeon.
